Errors and limits

Frequently asked questions
How is VAT rounded?
To the cent, half up. Amounts are computed in whole cents, so excl. VAT + VAT = incl. VAT exactly. From incl. to excl. VAT, the excl. amount is rounded and the VAT is derived from it.
Which VAT rates apply in France?
20% (standard), 10% (restaurants, renovation…), 5.5% (food, energy…) and 2.1% (reimbursed medicines, press). Any other rate from 0 to 100% is accepted, for other countries for instance.
Are my amounts sent or stored?
No. In the interface, the calculation happens in your browser. Through the API, data is processed and immediately discarded: it is neither stored nor logged.
